Anyone have any recommendation of motherhood or pregancy's books?

Anything will help.

Thanks in advance

WAITING

MashALLAH

How time flies and barely I did anything!

I almost the end of the two trimester and I haven't REALLY prepared anything.

Spiritually not that amusing either. Emotionally nothing to be proud of too. Physically oh I wanna cried from scared.

Since I knew I'm expecting only that moment I know that preparing for a child and hoping to have a soleh child is not simple as abc. It need preparation and that preparations doesn't started by the first month of our pregnancy.

It started wayyyy long before when we were a teenager. Building the character. Creating a habit. Practicing good deeds or amal.

I know the theory of on how Imam Malik, Imam Syafie's mother has started the tarbiyah since before they were born but little did I know how truth it is!

Like preparing for Ramadan it never takes two or three months before its arrival.

It takes the whole year to really execute to meaning of Ramadan in our daily routine.

Like preparing for Ramadan, the same goes with preparing to have a child.

Oh, I need the prayers now.

Prayers of solihin, muqarrabeen people.

And I need to put myself together.

Time is running.

Fast

  1. Salam Sumayyah, anti da berapa minggu? Yang ni anak pertama ya? Hmm..I forgot the title but it is a small book but costs about RM70 ++ but it is worth it. Recently I bought some books about natural birth/gentle birth but have not received them yet, so I couldn't recommend them. When I find out the title for the book I'll leave another comment here. Thanks for inviting me to read your new blog, so happy to hear about the news of your pregnancy.

  4. Anti kat terengganu kan? Ada mph tak kat sana? Buku ana tu pada kakak ana, all I remember about it is it features a woman with a green shirt/dress on the cover. Ana dok search online x jumpa pulak...kalau x silap ana publisher nya DK, ana beli kat mph dulu.

    Anti tanya pasal:

    1. exercise, walking throughout pregnancy and a healthy diet during pregnancy atau

2.exercise, movement and eating/drinking during labor to manage pain atau

    3. exercise, walking, food/drink to get naturally induce labor?

Pasal food and drink tu, maksud ana untuk induce naturally. Macam2. Kalau org melayu tu guna kembang fatimah, air selusuh, tapi orang putih pun percaya jugak, jus nenas, kuah kari, etc (ana tak berani makan benda2 ni sampai nak dekat2 due date, tapi kuah kari tu....hehe makan jugak. Tapi selain makanan dan minuman, memang ramai org tak kira bangsa akan cakap banyak berjalan tu faktor penting...

Kat sidebar blog my joy toi tu ada beberapa link yg bagus. E-book kariman hamzah pun ada. Kalau boleh emailkan alamat ofis atau rumah, ana hantar hard copy beberapa artikel...

  5. Tapi yg paling paling penting ialah mindset about pain. Trust in Allah.

Don't be afraid of the pain. Sakit masa bersalin tu lain dari sakit kerana penyakit. Kalau tak rasa sakit tu, lagi la masalah.

    so sakit tu perlu..

  7. oh ya lupa nak beritahu: the key is finding what comforts you and also somewhat 'practice' it if it can be practiced, i.e beg air panas, calming massage oil, etc.

Ana pun dulu takde pun practice sangat, hehe, cuma lepas solat sebelum bangkit ana buat sikit2. So at least 5x a day or more kira ada lah buat sikit2 secara routine. Inform the hospital and your doctor of your choices and involve your hubby in it.

Edd bulan Jan ya..can hardly wait! =)
